As the countdown to the start of the Beijing Olympic Games begins, eager anticipation and the spirit of sportsmanship spreads throughout the country and throughout the entire world. But in the final hours before the games commence, one question is on the tip of everyone’s tongue: Will Islamic Terrorists taint the 2008 Beijing Olympics with bloodshed? On Monday morning two terrorists from an Islamic-Chinese separatist group carried out a massive terror attack in which they crashed a truck into a crowd of policemen and then launched homemade explosives devices killing 16 Chinese policemen. Yet despite the recent attack the Chinese government insists that the country is secure and there is nothing to fear. 08/05/08
