I picked a very unfortunate time to watch this video -- I was literally sitting down to lunch at the time -- and I have to say that I am now physically ill. While I believe it is important and necessary for people to watch certain things, even if it makes them uncomfortable, I do feel that a "VERY GRAPHIC" warning should be placed on this video.
After viewing this, my first thought was "no more meat for me!" However, that does not solve the bigger problem. What steps can be taken to ensure that these barbaric practices are stopped? One person, or 10 or 100 or 1000 for that matter, becoming a vegetarian does not make the issue go away by any means. I can't imagine that "regular" slaughtering could be much worse than this allegedly "kosher" type(can it?)
